At the current Geneva International Motor Show, Kia unveiled its third-generation Sportage: 2011 Kia Sportage. It is learned, New Sportage will be on sale in Europe this summer.
2011 Kia Sportage size is 4440/1855/1635mm, wheelbase is 2640mm, maximum luggage space is 1353L, interior style has changed markedly.
In the security configuration, including ABS anti-lock braking system, EBD electronic brake-force distribution system, ESC electronic stability control system, DBC Downhill brake control system, HAC uphill start support system, front driver and passenger airbags, front seat side airbags, three-point seat belts, height-adjustable head cushion, car central locking and so on.
Concerning power, 2011 Kia Sportage first introduced two power (a 2.0L R2.0 CRDi Diesel engine and a 2.0L Theta II gasoline engine), later will be introduced the other two power (a 1.7L U2 diesel engine and a 1.6L Gamma GDI gasoline engine).
2.0L R2.0 CRDi diesel engine maximum output power of 136 hp / 4000rpm, peak torque 304Nm/2000rpm, matching is a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
2.0L gasoline engine maximum output power of 163 hp / 6200rpm, peak torque 192Nm/4500rpm, matching is a five-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
1.7L U2 diesel engine maximum output power of 115 hp / 4000rpm, peak torque 255Nm/1800-2500rpm, matching the 6-speed manual transmission.
1.6L Gamma GDI gasoline engine maximum output power of 140 hp / 6200rpm, peak torque 166Nm/4500rpm, match the five-speed manual transmission.
