In the evening of March 1, Porsche has unveiled a new Hybrid Concept Car: Porsche 918 Spyder Concept.
Porsche 918 Spyder Concept equipped with a V8 gasoline engine and three electric motors. V8 gasoline engine maximum power output of 500hp, three electric motor output of 218hp, so output total power of the car will reach 718hp. Porsche 918 Spyder Concept’s 100 kilometers fuel consumption is only 3L, carbon dioxide emissions is 70g/km.
Recently, BMW officially released the 2010 BMW 5-Series ActiveHybrid official pictures. The car will be formally unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, and will officially go on sale in 2011.
2010 BMW 5-Series ActiveHybrid will be powered by a twin-turbocharged and direct injected gasoline engine, and will equipped with a maximum power of 54 horsepower (about 40kw) electric motor, matching the 8-speed automatic transmission.
Configuration, including automatic start / stop function, power recovery systems and so on. It is reported that BMW ActiveHybrid 5 will be at least 10% of the increase in fuel economy.
Recently, 2010 Kia Ray Plug-In Hybrid Concept Car officially unveiled at Chicago Auto Show. Equipped with an inline four-cylinder direct-injection gasoline engine, and match an electric motor. The engine is an all-aluminum 1.4L GDI engine, maximum output power of 115 kilowatts, the electric motor maximum output power of 78 kilowatts, and equipped with a CVT transmission.
Kia Ray Plug-In Hybrid Concept car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension system. Fuel consumption is 3.0L of 100 kilometers in the gasoline-electric hybrid mode, and in pure electric mode, fuel consumption is 1.1L of 100 kilometers.
Porsche will officially released 911 GT3 R Hybrid car at the Geneva Auto Show in March.
GT3 R Hybrid has a 480-hp 4.0L boxer engine driving the rear wheels, but also added two motors driving the front wheels. To power calculation, two motors can output a total of about 120kW (161 hp). In the two motor – assisted, GT3 R Hybrid of the total power will be more than 500 hp. Electrical Flywheel Battery can up to 40000rpm speed, storage of energy.
At this year’s Detroit auto show, Honda unveiled a Hybrid sports car called Compact Renaissance Zero (CR-Z). And announced the starting price of the car is 2.268 million yen (about 25,000 U.S. dollars).
The car has a very stylish exterior design. CR-Z’s size 4080/1740/1395 (mm), wheelbase of 2435mm, the car will be on sale February 26 in Japan.
